Microsoft France Sees Strong Results With "Mission M" Interactive Marketing Campaign designed by Ipnoz and Powered By eStara
New Interactive Campaign Integrates Internet, Telephone and Email Communication Channels to Promote Online Brands
Paris, France, Reston, VA January 27, 2003 - eStara Inc. announced today with Microsoft France the success of Microsoft's Mission M online interactive campaign designed by Ipnoz Agency and powered by eStara. Interactive Marketing solutions.
Mission M takes participants on an online scavenger hunt through popular Microsoft France websites including: MSN.fr, Microsoft France, Microsoft bCentral and Xbox. Participants are hunting for "key words" that will let them enter a drawing for prizes including a Compaq Tablet PC TC1000 and Microsoft Xbox consoles.
Mission M includes an interactive marketing module powered by eStara that allows participants to listen to and then launch an "e-voice" call, a synchronized phone and email message that contains a Mission M "key word."
"Mission M is one of the most innovative and popular interactive marketing campaigns, Microsoft France has launched on the web" said Sebastien Imbert, director of Web marketing, Microsoft France. "The technology powered by eStara opens up a new world of possibilities for interactive web marketing," he added.
To launch a Mission M e-voice call, a participant must log-into the website via Microsoft Passport and then click on the e-voice template. The participant will then enter a phone number and email address for the intended recipient of the e-voice call into an eStara-created user interface. The caller selects an audio phone message and the e-voice call is initiated. At the completion, the recipient receives an email alert explaining and promoting the Mission M campaign.
"Mission M is the first European campaign to exploit from the combined impact of the Web, email and the telephone," said Thibaut Behaghel, director of European operations, eStara. "The eStara powered module has been popular with Mission M participants because it is interactive and innovative," he added.
The Mission M campaign was accessible from Microsoft France home page, as well as MSN and bCentral French sites.
